| Robert Allen Jr. Robert Allen Jr. is a powerhouse of blues guitar. He first picked up a guitar at the age of five. by his late teens Robert was touring nationally with blues bands. His travels in 1996 with the Sly Mississippi Gun took him to the crossroads, the place where as legend has it, Robert Johnson cut his deal with the devil. In 1997 his travels on the east coast with legendary Sam Lay (Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf) Brought him to the blues master Jimmy Rogers. Robert has been astounding audiences ever since. In 2001 he recieved the Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) award for "blues group of the year" . Robert is currently working on his new CD and performing regionally with his band. | Run Side Down Run Side Down is eclectic musically. The music could be called "Jam Band" or it could be called "Progressive Rock", or it could be called "Good Time" music. They love to play long and hard sets with both original songs and a host of Rock N' Roll covers from band's like The Who, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Phish, Buddy Miles, Frank Zappa, just to name a few. Mike met Vince during college at UWSP in 1998. They both graduated with BA degrees on their respective instruments. Vince moved to Indiana, and Mike headed for Madison, WI. Mike started a band called Space Camp with Dan and Jon. A phone call brought Vince to Madison to sleep on Mike's couch for a month of rehersals before their first tour began. After a series of unfortunate events in 1998 Jesse Vest, Matt Taul and Todd Whitener found themselves out of the band they helped to make and wondering what was next. They knew they wanted to move ahead and keep making music, but were minus a singer. Back in Detroit, Michigan Hugo Ferreira was in a band called Merge. They recorded and did shows, however, Hugo always felt there was more out there for him. More he could experience. His manager, Dan Colucci had heard about the situation with Jesse, Matt and Todd and mentioned it to Hugo. Hugo contacted them and they hooked up.
