| Virgo Vertigo, the The Virgo Vertigo is a band started in Seattle, WA and now is based in Madison, WI. The Virgo Vertigo fuses together many different and familiar popular music elements. Although the sound is eclectic, the current release, the Prelude EP manages to hold together the many different "styles" to make something that sounds unique and "huge". The project was started by singer and guitarist, Tory World in early 2009 as a hobby. Upon moving back to Madison he quickly pieced together members from other past and present bands such as Flat Atom, Polymorphous Perverse, Dark Clan, SIV, and Stone Paisley. Other members include the Thump (rhythm/noise guitar), Lexi Steinweg-Woods (bassist), and the Blue Diamond (drums). The live show is a performance art presentation which is meant to be a reflection of modern society in a dream state. A projector is used to present video and images to tell the songs in a "documentary fashioned" style. The projector also acts as a "light show". View Website - |
